Company


ZMK Technologies GmbH was founded by Norbert Marx with the idea to develop, manufacture and distribute special valves for the chemical and petrochemical market world-wide.

The company was registered on 10 June 2014 under the no. HRB 6853 in the Register of Commerce at County Court Düren.

The capital resources of ZMK Technologies GmbH from the shareholders have been generously calculated so that sufficient capital for the processing of orders – even larger ones – is and will be available also in the future.

On 27 August 2014 ZMK Technologies GmbH was already certified according to DIN ISO 9001.

Managing director

As of 1 January 2015 Rüdiger Klein is the managing director of ZMK. He has 22 years of experience in the special petrochemical valve business (e.g. valves for the ethylene, coker and dehydrogenation processes).
In 1993 Rüdiger Klein graduated as a mechanical engineer (Dipl.-Ing.) from the technical university FH Aachen.
He started as a design engineer in 1993 and became an assistant sales manager in 2002. In 2011 he was promoted to division manager in his previous assignment.

In the following ethylene projects – among others – he was the responsible project manager for the valves for the cracking furnaces:

JGC Rabigh, Exxon Singapore, Shell Singapore, Dushanzi, Maoming, Mitsubishi Chemicals, Yanbu Petrochemicals, LyondellBasell Wesseling, OMV Burghausen

Senior director

Norbert Marx is the senior director of ZMK. In the 42 years he worked for his previous employer he gained extensive experience in the development, sales and service of special valve production for the chemical and petrochemical industry.

In the last 13 years there he had a leading position.

Mr. Marx is the holder of various patents for special valves.

ZMK Technologies GmbH, a lifecycle solution provider for challenging valve applications, has been received very well by the market.

The success stories include servicing & upgrading of installed base valves including complete turnaround coordination and several new valves delivered and installed.
